Return & Refund Policy
At Ashenfume, every fragrance is carefully handcrafted and produced in small batches. Due to the nature of fragrance products, all sales are considered final unless otherwise stated below.
Sampling Recommendation
Fragrance is highly personal and can vary significantly depending on individual taste, skin chemistry, environment, and scent preferences.
If you are new to Ashenfume or uncertain whether a fragrance will suit your preferences, we strongly recommend purchasing a sample before committing to a full-size bottle.
Our fragrances frequently feature uncommon natural materials, tinctures, resins, animalics, botanicals, and other distinctive ingredients that may differ substantially from mainstream commercial perfumes.
Because fragrance preference is subjective, we cannot offer refunds, returns, or exchanges based on personal dislike of a scent.
Returns & Exchanges
For health, safety, and quality-control reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on opened, used, tested, sampled, or partially consumed fragrance products.
Once a fragrance has left our possession, we cannot verify that it has been stored, handled, or maintained in a manner suitable for resale.
Returned items that show evidence of use, tampering, damage, or alteration will not be eligible for a refund.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or if you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within seven (7) days of delivery.

Your order number
A description of the issue
Clear photographs of the product, packaging, and shipping box
Upon review, Ashenfume may provide a replacement, refund, and/or other reasonable resolution that we and you (the customer) can work together.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled prior to shipment.
Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled.
Preorders may be canceled prior to shipment. Once a preorder enters production, fulfillment, or has shipped, it may no longer be canceled.
Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Shipments
Ashenfume is not responsible for packages that have been marked as delivered by the shipping carrier.
If a package appears lost in transit, please contact us and we will assist in initiating a carrier investigation when appropriate.
Shipping delays caused by carriers, customs agencies, weather events, labor disruptions, or other circumstances outside our control are not grounds for cancellation or refund.
International Orders
International customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, customs fees, brokerage fees, import charges, or other governmental assessments imposed by their country.
Ashenfume is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing, import restrictions, or local postal services.
Orders refused by the recipient or returned due to unpaid customs fees may be subject to additional shipping charges, return fees, or partial refunds at our discretion.
Allergies, Sensitivities & Product Safety
Customers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions and purchasing decisions prior to ordering.
Fragrances contain aromatic materials that may cause irritation, allergic reactions, staining, or sensitivities in certain individuals.
Ashenfume makes no guarantee that a customer will not experience a reaction to a product. Customers with known allergies, sensitivities, or medical concerns should exercise caution and perform appropriate patch testing before use.
By purchasing and using our products, customers acknowledge that they assume all responsibility for any individual reaction, sensitivity, or adverse effect that may occur.
Discontinue use immediately if irritation occurs.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ashenfume shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the purchase, use, misuse, inability to use, or performance of any product sold through this website.
Ashenfume's maximum liability for any claim relating to a product purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.
