One day, the sea takes everything back. Under a sky that doesn't have a set hour, the smell starts with a pale flame in a dark lantern. Pieces of longing happiness, lime and old bergamot float on the wind, along with prayers from those who have forgotten their names.
Black pepper stirs with a whisper of fire before the water takes over. Before the waves come back, everything is silent. Hydrodistilled Jasmine Otto, rare and precious, engulfs the center of this calm with its floral sweetness; The violet leaf adds to the oceanic effect with its dark green power, while the spicy carnation keeps the Black death from sinking.
Powdery orris resembles gunsmoke of the ships barrel. Massoia bark helps aid the coconut to provide a creamy and almost ghostly aspect to it, recollection of fruit left behind by the hungry drowned. Guaiacwood soaks in sorrow. Mitti attar, clay, and the sun crushed down to their last prayer giving the perfume a earthy and rich sea smell.
Onycha soaks the sand with smoked seashells as if the Oceans themself had been lit ablaze. The smoked Nagarmotha remains rooted in the earth. The Cambodian oud, despite its decay, retains its beauty. Black ambergris, the smell of time turned bitter and black.
Dark Patchouli evokes a blackness akin to misguided dreams, while Greenland moss clings to the remnants of the past with its bright tendencies. Something lost is still calling your name through the waves.
